Functions of the Heating Button on Apparel

After connecting the battery to the heated clothing, you need to activate the heating function by pressing and holding the heating button on the clothing for 3-5 seconds. Once the heating is activated, you can adjust the heating levels in a cycle by short-pressing the heating button. The different heating levels are indicated by the color of the heating button's indicator light (High - Red; Medium - White; Low - Blue). When you no longer need heating, you can turn off the heating function by pressing and holding the button on the heated clothing for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

Why do I feel that my heated clothing is not warm enough?

Our heated clothing is designed with different heating levels to meet your heating needs. You can try adjusting the heating levels to achieve the optimal warmth.

If you are using the highest heating level and still feel it's not warm enough, there could be other factors affecting the warmth:

  • Environmental conditions: The perceived warmth of the heated clothing can be influenced by environmental conditions. In extremely cold environments, the heated clothing may take longer to generate enough heat to meet the demand. Additionally, the effectiveness of the heated clothing may also be affected by factors such as wind speed, humidity, and other external elements.
  • Improper layering: Proper layering of heated clothing is essential. If the mid-layers between the heated clothing and your body are too thick or if the heating clothing is too loose, the heat transfer to your body may be weakened. Therefore, inappropriate layering or incorrect sizing can also affect the heating performance.
  • Individual differences in warmth perception: People have individual differences in their perception of warmth. Some individuals may be less sensitive to temperature or require higher warmth levels, and the standard warmth level may not fully meet their expectations.

If you feel that your heated clothing is not warm enough, you can try the following:

  • Ensure the heated clothing fits snugly against your body without significant gaps or restrictions.
  • In cold environments, you can layer with additional outerwear to enhance overall warmth.
  • Check if the battery is fully charged and ensure it has sufficient capacity to provide the desired heating time.

If the problem persists, you can inspect the product for any issues or contact customer support for assistance.

Perception of warmth is subjective, so if you have doubts about the effectiveness of the heated clothing, you can make appropriate adjustments and choices based on your personal needs and comfort level. ORORO offers different heating zones to meet various heating requirements, and you can contact customer support to find a more personalized heating solution that suits you better.

Why do I feel that my heated clothing is not as warm as before?

There could be several reasons why your heated clothing may not feel as warm as before:

  • Environmental conditions: It indeed affect the perceived warmth of heated clothing. In extremely cold environments, the clothing may take longer to generate enough heat to meet demand. Factors like wind speed, humidity, and other external elements can also impact the effectiveness of the heated clothing.
  • Improper layering: The heating elements in the heated clothing directly generate warmth to warm our bodies. If you wear too many or too thick intermediate layers underneath the heated clothing, it can reduce the transfer of heat from the heating elements to your body, affecting your perception of the heating temperature.
  • Battery degradation: This is an unavoidable phenomenon over time, as batteries naturally degrade with use. As batteries age, their capacity decreases, leading to shorter heating durations and potentially affecting the overall performance of your heated clothing.

If your heated clothing is no longer as warm as it used to be, you can try the following:

  • Utilize the highest heat setting (red light) to maximize warmth output.
  • In extremely cold environments, appropriately layer with outerwear and wear a moderately thick base layer to enhance overall warmth.
  • Gently clean the heated clothing, ensuring that the heating materials are not compressed or damaged to maintain the heating effect.
  • Check if the battery needs replacement or re-charging. Ensure that the battery has sufficient capacity to provide enough power supply.

If the problem persists, you can inspect the product with our troubleshooting guide or contact customer support to assist you in diagnosing and resolving the problem.
